About me
My name is Janine Daws. I am a qualified Psychotherapist. I studied around my growing family and achieved a Level 5 Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling. I have been a Mental Health First Aid since 2017 and have 13 years experience working with young children from the age of 4 years helping develop emotional literacy at this most important time of their lives. I am a member of the YMCA Professional Therapeutic Pathway working with youths 12 - 18 years, allowing them the time, space and a safe environment to feel comfortable to express their worries, anxieties or issues in a confidential way without pressure or judgement. I am also a member of Harley Street Psychotherapeutic Counselling in Kings Lynn working with children, young people and adults to encourage a new perspective and understanding of difficulties affecting their wellbeing.
Using talk therapy and through creative means I allow clients to feel comfortable to express themselves and work at a pace they are comfortable with.
I am fully insured and an accredited member of The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society and fully abide by their ethical framework. I am enhanced DBS checked.
I can help with anxiety, bereavement, grief, depression, stress and many more issues that may have an impact on a individuals every day living.
Life can throw us some real curve balls and sometimes we just need that extra listening ear to help us come to terms and have a better understanding of what it means to us as individuals as we navigate this unpredictable road.
A quote I live by is "slow and steady wins the race" There is no quick fix; only time, patience and the ability to walk with people on their journey.
